Running Thoughts... January 25th episode

The religious painting in Charlie's piano flashback was significant of something. Frank will know... he is the religious scholar of the show.

Charlie's dad the baby butcher? And a piano washes up on shore... and I only get rotted driftwood at the beach. Oh, it's a DREAM!!

Who's yo NEW daddy, Aaron... it's Locke! Time to get your stash of H, Chuckles.

Hurley is a little inquisitive about "Libby the Tailie"... hmmm. And Kate is now a physcial therapist for Sawyer, I mean James.

Aaron in the sea has GOT to be a parallel to Moses on the Nile from the bible...

Now Charlie's seeing Claire and his mother as angels in what looks like a painting because the bird that flies through casts a shadow like it was canvas.

I think Locke knows about Charlie's stash...

What is Hurley remembering when he looks at Libby? She remembers him stepping on her foot. I know I'D remember that!

Eko believes that Charlie's dreams mean something. Now he is insisting on the baptism, which brings us back to the painting in Charlie's childhood home... Jesus and John the baptist.

Is it my imagination, or is Jack wearing the key around his neck very prominently? And why would he need it anymore?

Thought I was watching American Idol again when Charlie started singing. Where's William Hung when you need him?

Good LORD... could they throw more commercials at us??

Baptising to save the babies soul? Once again... LOST SOULS. Thats what this show is all about.

Charlie lights the fire to distract the others so he can snatch the baby. With the hood, he looks like the Unakidnapper.

BAP, BAM, BOOM... Down goes Charlie, down goes Charlie...

The baptism.

Locke absolutely made me ill when he caught Charlie with the statues. How hypocritical is he, telling Charlie he lost the right to be trusted because he lied about his stash. Isn't he the one who lied about how Boone died? How soon the sanctimonious forget.

Thank goodness you actually started talking/blogging about "Lost" again. Where have you guys been? Also, I heard that you were moving your "Lost" talk to 8 am. I hope this is temporary since a lot of people are at work without radios at this time. I look forward to hearing all of the great comments about the show. Thanks!

So is this like the Garden of Eden gone bad? We have different tribes. hmmm
Maybe Eko wasn't afraid of the black smoke because it is a God like identity, and he had come to peace with himself. Locke defiantly had an opposite incident with the black smoke.

I was always taught growing up in a baptist family that if something happens to a child that hasn't reached the age of culpability (which varies according to the child, becuase it depends on the child's understanding of what Jesus has done, etc.) then the child can't be held accountable for not being saved. That's just how I've been raised.

Did anyone notice the end of the show. They said something like, "In future episodes of Lost" ...

um, are we getting ready for more of this - two weeks of content and 4 weeks of repeats. It ABC keeps this up, I quit.

The show is good, even though this episode was a little slow (and strange), I can deal with it if they give us something next week.

Are we going to get a rerun next week?

yeah next week is a repeat, and the week after that (2-8) is new.

You were talking about Jack and his wife. I think she may have been having an affair with Sawyer instead of his father. Sawyer told Jack last season that he know him and his dad. Just a thought.
