Ok, I don't do Korean, but couldn't find anywhere else to put this regarding Kate...

I think someone threatened to put a note in the bottle saying that she is there & she is a fugitive...When I saw her digging through them last night, I was pretty sure she was checking to see if whoever said that (I forgot!) really did it.

Oh, and on the oceanic-air.com site, the RETURN information for the flights that used to be there is greyed out...

Sawyer outed Kate to get her place on the raft. I think she was worried about him.

I work for a professor here at the University of Tennessee who is from Korea and he said that the sign is referring to a Festival during May 7-9 which is the birthdate of Buddah. They decorate the streets with lights and decorations similar to the way we decorate for Christmas.

He did think it was a little odd that the sign was posted on the bridge because it seems too low for boats to go through it, but I suppose that was a good place to hang it for those who are walking along the water.

I spoke with one of my husbands' Korean coworkers. He wasn't able to give me a direct translation; but he said pretty much what the earlier translation is. He said it talks about some Celebration at nightime and he kept focusing on that they use some type of lamps (candle or oil type) and that it occurs May 7-9th.
